Colliers Macaulay Nicolls appoints Dan Spiegel Senior Vice President of U.S. Operations

Los Angeles, Calif. (August 19, 2008) – Colliers Macaulay Nicolls (CMN), the largest member firm of Colliers International, today announced that the leading real estate services firm has named Dan Spiegel to the role of Senior Vice President of U.S. Operations. In this role, Spiegel will be tasked with overseeing the internal operations and infrastructure systems of the company’s U.S. business in order to increase efficiencies, elevate performance and create greater value for all stakeholders.

Spiegel has an impressive 18-year track record in the commercial real estate business and in managing operations and infrastructure systems. Most recently, he was the Executive Vice President of Operations for Transaction Services for Grubb & Ellis. During his tenure with Grubb & Ellis, Spiegel moved quickly up the ranks from Director of Research and Information Services in the Rosemont office to heading up market research operations for the Eastern Region, which included 21 locations in 13 states, before taking on the Executive Vice President role in 1995.
