TUSTIN, CALIF. (September 10, 2008) – Tustin Business Center, LLC has acquired Tustin Business Center, a 156,991 square-foot multi-tenant industrial business park situated on 10.18 acres in Tustin, Calif., for $28 million.

Tustin Business Center consists of 11 buildings totaling 156,991 square feet. The project is located at 14712 to 14662 Franklin Ave. in Tustin, Calif., in the Irvine Business Complex (IBC), a bustling economic hub with over 4,500 companies employing more than 110,000 people. The IBC is conveniently located near the 55, 73 and 405 Freeways.

“This is the largest industrial investment sale in the Irvine Business Complex this year,” explained Michael Hartel, senior vice president of Voit Commercial Brokerage’s Irvine office. “The huge scale of this transaction demonstrates that the Orange County industrial market continues to attract investors at a time when investment sales across the nation have slowed drastically. Despite the national hesitancy to invest in real estate due to the uncertain economic future, the Orange County industrial market remains a solid investment.”
