WESTERN NATIONAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT NAMES LYNN KLUG REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

IRVINE, Calif. (September 29, 2008)—Western National Property Management, the multifamily real estate management arm of Western National Group, has hired Lynn Klug as regional vice president, business development.

In this position, Klug will oversee the firm’s new fee management business development opportunities.

“We’ve worked closely with Lynn for many years and are confident that her depth of multifamily experience will play a key role in bolstering Western National Property Management’s business development,” explains Cindy Shepardson, vice president of operations for Western National Property Management.

Prior to joining Western National Property Management, Klug served as vice president, marketing and training for the multifamily property management division at Sares-Regis Group. In her role at Sares-Regis, Klug oversaw the Sares-Regis Group Academy Training Department. She was also involved in all marketing aspects of new development and value-added projects, which included interior and exterior design, signage and collateral and on-site team selection.

Klug also worked for Irvine Apartment Communities where she was responsible for overseeing the advertising and marketing for a portfolio of 25,000 units, including the development and lease up of 15 new communities.

A 20-year veteran in the multifamily industry, Klug is active with the South Coast Apartment Associations and is a past member of the board of directors for the National Apartment Association Education Institute.

Western National Group is a 45-year-old, fully integrated multifamily acquisition, development, construction and property management firm. Based in Irvine, Calif., Western National Property Management manages approximately 21,000 multifamily units in the Western United States and is the second-largest owner of multifamily housing in Orange County, Calif.
